He has successfully closed over $42 billion in energy and infrastructure transactions across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, and now applies this expertise to emerging innovation across clean sustainable technologies, AI applications, media ventures and global expansion.
Based in Doha, Qatar, Lance advises C-suite leaders and boards on international growth strategy, funding strategy, market entry, and cross-border partnerships across technology, media, and healthcare sectors.
He serves as Chairman, Middle East & Australia and Group Sustainability at Breton Technology in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and AI; Chairman, International at Night Street Games in competitive multiplayer gaming; Chairman, Middle East & North Africa of Future Shack Entertainment, a media and content studio developing premium series for global streamers and networks; and Chairman & Strategic Advisor to the Founder at Reed Entertainment, a film and documentary production company focused on access-driven storytelling for international audiences. He also advises the CEO at Mental on their AI-powered mental health platform and sits on the Cancer Neuroscience Founding Advisory Board at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
His advisory practice draws on extensive experience in global finance at HSBC, ANZ, Standard Chartered, and Citigroup. At HSBC, he led Global Liquidity & Cash Management across 54 countries, scaling revenues to over $2 billion. In his previous role as Chief Executive Officer of Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, he led a comprehensive transformation—launching a $2 million biotech accelerator, deploying $8 million to clinical trials, and receiving dual recognition as CEO Magazine's Global Executive of the Year and Third Sector's CEO of the Year in 2022, the only executive globally to receive both honors in the same year. He also became the first Australian cancer charity CEO to ring the Nasdaq bell twice.
Beyond the boardroom, Lance's 2023 South Pole expedition raised over $1 million for cancer research, bringing together 23 organizations across six countries, underscoring his commitment to purpose-driven leadership, resilience, and meaningful impact.
